Timber has a high level of natural insulation properties. When teamed with the correct glass and glazing practices, the insulation performance of timber joinery can be increased by more than 40% in some cases, resulting in a home that provides a healthier environment to live in and also realises a real reduction in climate control costs

Rooms that require a specific level of natural light can be catered for by selecting certain grades of tinting to counter heat loss and selectively protecting against unnecessary heat gain.
